Baby Dresdens

I've been using tiny Dresden plate blades as a leader-ender project for I don't know how long.  I have enough plates for a baby blanket now.  I first saw these little darlings on Bonnie Hunter's blog and fell head over heels in love with them!  Mine measure 4" across.  I'll be sewing these on a pale pale string pieced background block and joining them together with a wide almost lilac sashing with dark purple string block cornerstones (which are now my current LE project).  I'll be putting scrappy purple centers in the plates.  The purple cornerstone blocks 'may' have appliqued white posies.  Keep an eye on the blog.  I'll be showing pics as I get it put together.

Wendy, the dresden plate is lovely, and I like your idea for the background.
BTW, I enjoy the humorous posts you put on FB!
Hope you are doing ok. Kathleen in CT
