Here's my FMQ practice from yesterday. I've got the old metal FMQ foot on, the one I bought at the Janome shop. Just trying to get my bearings with it again by sewing some lines and spaces. Looks like I lost my map, doesn't it? LOL. See the hen in the middle?
Last night, Vince and I watched It Might Get Loud. I'm a huge classic rocker, but I also have a great fondness for the blues (hence I love Jack White). The chance to see these three: Jack White, The Edge (U2) and Jimmy Page (Zep) jam together was more temptation than I could stand. That doesn't dissapoint, let me tell you.
What I didn't expect: This is an extremely motivational DVD for any aspect of any life. It got me raring to go with my writing again. If you're trying to succeed at anything, if you've a passion for something and you ask yourself, "Is this all there is?" You've GOT to watch this! This DVD isn't about guitars. They're just the vehicle. The true message is: Be true to yourself, dare to be what you want to be no matter how difficult. Really, stupendous DVD!!!! Even if you don't like guitars. Well, maybe you should like guitars a little.

ohhhh, I love your fmq on that block. Way to go! I am a devoted classic rock fan, also...especially of all things zeppelin related. I have not seen that video, though I've read a lot of talk about it. Rock on!
New to your blog, but found it incredible that we watched that same movie last night in our house. It really was awesome.
