Design Wall Monday

I've been pretty quiet the past few weeks.  I've been busy!  These lovely Anita's Arrowhead blocks are filling all my spare time.

I have now 41 blocks that measure 9 x 9 unfinished.  I'm setting them on point and am now beginning the setting triangles in the same pattern.  I've already done one of these quilts, alternating dark blue with the arrowhead blocks:

It was string tied over a fleece backing.  The one I'm making now will be solid arrowhead blocks, quilted in an all over pattern in the center with a small bit of detail in the borders.

Head on over to Judy Laquidara's blog to see more DWM entries.

Here's my Orca Bay mystery quilt I made for Bonnie Hunter's mystery.  I haven't quilted it yet, because I'm going to make it a two sided quilt and am trying to decide on the back.

Beautiful! It looks lovely in this smaller size. I've been struggling along to make it nearly the size Bonnie specified, and now I'm a little sorry I didn't wrap it up when you did!
Great job.

Joann said it best: it's like a sunburst! I'd call your quilt "Sunburst Bay". Really stunning!

An absolutely stunning Bay quilt - I think this needs pride of place in your house! Like your other blocks too - the completed one you showed was very effective.
