Carolina Christmas Quilted!

Spent the day battling that spool of thread.  Even with all the modifications I made, the bottom of my trash can was covered (plus some) with snarled thread by the time I finished.  I even changed spools, so I know it's the brand or batch and not the single spool.  Anyway, BECAUSE of the modifications, I was able to finish the quilting on the Carolina Christmas today.  Tomorrow I'll start sewing the binding.  But not tonight.  I'm beat.  Battle is tough on the body, mind and soul, you know?  I'll put up a pic as soon as I finish.

BTW, swing by Clare's blog and give her some love.  She's had a tough day with her machine, too.

Thread choice is such a tricky thing! So many beautiful threads out there, but my machine seems to be happiest free motion quilting with plain Gutermann cotton thread! Oh well! I will have to experiment with others.
Glad you got yours done, can't wait to see it. ♥

My 2 old Singer machines love Coats & Clarke. Mettler also good too.

Thanks for the mention. Emma 1425 (sewing machine) is purring again.
