What do you think? Longer or is it good? Frankly, I like it short and punchy. This was inspired by the movie: Hope Floats.

it works on figurative and literal levels--I vote no changes. I really like it! Feels like you've been reading Austen or Bronte sisters? Perhaps Keats for the sense of longing?
