Design Wall Monday

Between work and the writers' retreat starting Thursday, there won't be a whole lot of sewing done.  The good news is that I have Wednesday and Thursday morning off to work on my quilts.  So here's the plan:  My FMQ time is donated to my Kaleidoscope quilt.  I'm half way done now, with working stolen 15 minutes in here and there.  I keep the quilt set up on one machine all the time so it's ready in an instant.  I have some more blocks I've started yesterday (but didn't finish) for my Spanish Steps.  Those are on my old Brother machine.  I'll finish those and maybe make some more.

At the retreat, I've already told you I'll be working on my short story, Palindrome.  I've also recently started another short story (unamed) that needs attention.  Other than that, it'll be lots of prompt writing and clearing the head.

'Till tomorrow!

This quilt looks like a beautiful stained glass window. It's fantastic! :) Take care, Dianne B. in England

It always amazes me how much can be accomplished in a few minutes here and a few there. Sometimes that's all the sewing time there is! I love that quilt.

Very pretty, I had no idea how it would look assembled and I love it, too!! I like the quilting you are doing on it. I am working on that particular leaf and vine for one of my quilts. I sneak in 15-30 minutes here and there and ta-da a quilt is done. Good luck with your writing!

Wow, your spiderweb looks so great all put together. Are the two tuxie kitties in the background supervising your work?

Your quilt is beautiful! How big is it - and are you quilting it on a regular machine?

I love your Kaleidoscope: I must do one. It is hard to find/make time for all the things you want to do, isn't it?

I think it was Stuart Woods. Based loosly on a true story here..
Great quilt! I sure had a lot to catch up on today!

No it was the same spelling Palindrome, sorry. YEs, Stuart Woods.
There was a killing here in the 60's and that was sort of from it.
Nevada Barr wrote a closer acct., and got sued by the woman.
