It's one of my favorite phrases. Isn't that what we, scrap quilters, are trying to achieve? I work and work and work to make my scrap quilts appear totally random while not allowing too many blues next to each other or trying to spread the red somewhat evenly across the quilt. Yet, often the truly random gets in my way. What would happen if I let go and allowed the truly random take over? I believe I'll try this, but I have to find the right project first. More later.
