I don't know if I showed you the first of these placemats before (front and back).
Here's the second (front and back).
There are two more to go. It takes me awhile to make these because I have to think what I want to quilt on it. The placemats are all sandwiched and ready to go, though. The stars are something from a swap about a year (or more?) ago, now.
And now the part I'm sure you came here to read. I have this nifty little book I'm giving away.
I'll give you until midnight Atlantic time on the 15th to enter. Rules: Follow me for one entry and leave a comment below that you did. For a second entry, leave a link in a comment leading me to what FMQ project you're working on right now.
That's it, that's all.
Have fun!
-Wendy

I am a fan of Laura Lee's work and would love to win the book. (I'm already a follower.)
And here's a link to some FMQ I'm working on this week: Quilting in Progress
Fabulous placemats, Wendy - the quilting on them looks stunning!! What a great giveaway - I would love to be in the draw for this one!! I'll have to come back for a second try when I pull out some fmq!!

I'm already a follower - and just learning (and practicing) FMQ. Love the placemats! today I'll be Stitching in the Ditch on several little placemats - and hope to venture onward to FMQ on my practice table topper (the picnic quilt)

Lovely blog and works. hugs
I have been following for a while.
Thanks for the offer. That book looks promising.
Now, risking a third comment to ask if you really need the "prove you're not a robot" protection.
Sometimes I just want to leave a one or two word comment, and, frankly, more often than not I give up after being told I got it wrong.
I just finished my Greek Cross quilt which I FMQ using a squarish loop design. You can check it out here http://freshoffthespool-danih03.blogspot.com/
